Duluth is where it all started with a big bang on July 4th, 1944!
Peggy had an amazing life filled with family, friends, cats, dogs and adventure. You were part of her journey! We are all lucky to call Peggy wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and fast-friend. .
.
The chapters in Peggy's life were rich. We've tried to capture the essence of Peggy with photos and stories. Please send yours so we can add them to this websites.
Peggy passed away on November 27, 2019 in Washburn, WI after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's and Lewy Body Dementia. She was a fighter and maintained her grace, sense of humor with the world and love of beauty.through to the end.
We all miss Peggy and are reminded of her in many ways - especially when walking through the woods. Peggy loved a good hike through the forests and marveled at the natural beauty bathing her soul and cleansing her spirit.
A website dedicated to Peggy is absolutely the last thing that she would have expected or participated with in it’s creation. But times have changed and to remember Peg in today's world of de-socialization the electronic media seems like the most appropriate. The website is intended to provide a vehicle to tell Peg’s friends, acquaintances, and granddaughters the story of her life and of the thousands of lives which she influenced as a student, teacher, writer, photographer, decorator, framer, and artist. We look at the website as a permanent tribute to Peggy and will maintain it for your use and recollections.
We hope you enjoy the memories and can linger awhile. Come back and visit often. Please share your memories with us - we would love to post them! Share your stories and pictures with comments by emailing them to Rex at rex.dollinger@yahoo.com.
Love and Stay Safe
